We are currently seeking 2 custodians for our in-house housekeeping department. The Custodian keeps the building in a clean and orderly condition. In addition to routine custodial duties, the Custodian is responsible for notifying Maintenance or the appropriate Supervisor of conditions that warrant further attention.

The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma, or equivalent, have knowledge of cleaning solvents, experience operating cleaning equipment, and be able to follow directions, interpret basic schedules, pay close attention to detail, and work with limited supervision. The qualified candidate will also need to interact with associates at all levels of the company and be able to maintain good attendance.

HR Assistant

The HR Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the HR department, assists with posting open positions, reviewing candidates, and scheduling interviews, assists in communicating various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations, administers benefit and leave programs, maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs, assists with internal HR processes such as New Hire Onboarding and Insurance Orientation, performs general office duties, and other HR related tasks as assigned.

The qualified candidate will have a High School education, or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, a minimum 2 years experience in HR, solid experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS software, and good knowledge of standard office procedures. The exceptional candidate will also have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation, have the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment, have keen attention to detail and organizational skills, and have working knowledge of local, state, and federal HR regulations.

Maintenance A/HVAC

We are currently seeking a Maintenance A to join our team! You will be responsible for repair and maintain machinery, mechanical equipment, buildings, and fixtures. Maintenance A personnel are required to serve on the Haz-Mat team and have a general mastery of all maintenance fields.

The qualified candidate will have Trades apprenticeship/training or equivalent, Electrical Training Certification, or equivalent, Commercial and Residential HVAC experience, safety training, including the handling of hazardous chemicals/wastes and emergency response procedures, and mastery of the principles of carpentry, plumbing, electronics, welding, masonry, and machine mechanics.

Grounds Maitenance

Looking for a new career, why not become the newest member of Peterson Manufacturing's Maintenance department! The Utility/Yard Maintenance associate performs a variety of tasks, as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. These tasks include driving company vehicles; servicing company products, equipment, and fixtures, and maintaining the appearance and safety of the external environment, building and grounds.

The qualified candidate will have familiarity with principles of irrigation, commercial mowing, and machine mechanics, familiarity with basic chemical properties and safe handling of chemicals, have basic mechanical skills, and have a current class "E" chauffeur licenses if one is available, and successfully complete requisite MoDOT training and demonstration of requirements.
